Focusing on Youth
The Center for Independent Living is a charity filled with vitality
and fun. Activities for our youth range from our wide curriculum
of life skills, education and vocation to the endless arena of
recreation. All activities for our homeless youth are valuable
in the sense that they encourage a sense of belonging and trust
in traditional society.
We have guest speakers, cultural touring groups, workshops and
parties galore. Interaction is of the essence. What
better interaction for our youth than to work or play along side
a dedicated volunteer.
These are significant steps towards our ultimate vision of seeing
these youth as self-sufficient adults with healthy relationships.
